Burnham-On-Sea is the perfect base to enjoy a holiday break in the West. An old-fashioned Victorian seaside resort – it has eight miles of award-winning ‘Blue Flag' beaches.

A much smaller resort than nearby Weston-super-Mare it is popular with windsurfers, kite enthusiasts, yachts, donkeys, families and dog-lovers.

Within ten minutes you can be driving across the Somerset Levels – famous for its cider farms and willow production. The levels are dotted with family-friendly traditional pubs which serve wonderful home-cooked lunches.

You may choose to buy farmhouse cheese in Cheddar or explore the gorge and caves. Visit the cathedral city of Wells, or Glastonbury - famous for its historic Tor, Abbey and pop festival. Go shopping-mad at the nearby designer outlet in Street, Take a steam-train from Minehead on the West Somerset Railway.
